All provinces: bank and lending institution employees, government employees, law enforcement officials.
All provinces except ON: healthcare professionals.
MB: accountants and lawyers.
AB, SK, BC, MB: immigration consultant, newcomer support workers.
AB, MB: clergy members and spiritual leaders.

DISCLAIMER for RESIDENCY STATUSES: By proceeding with the Greatway membership, you are agreeing to that you understand that only the residency statuses may be contracted with Greatway Financial:

Post Graduate Work Permit for Canada – valid for at least 6 months
Open Work Permit for Canada – valid for at least 6 months
Canada Permanent Resident (PR)
Canadian Citizen

With the residency status you selected, while you may proceed with the LLQP registration and studies, you ONLY may proceed with the certification provider registration and provincial exams if you hold a status in the above. Greatway Financial only contracts individuals holding specific residency statuses for the purpose of becoming a licensed insurance agent:

Post Graduate Work Permit (valid for at least 6 months)
Open Work Permit (valid for at least 6 months)
Permanent Resident (PR)
Canadian Citizen

Please note that eligibility for licensing and sponsorship is not guaranteed by Greatway Financial. If you have selected a residency status not listed above, your registration with Greatway will not proceed if your intent is to become licensed. You must hold one of the listed statuses to proceed with registration for certification provider and provincial exams.

You have indicated that you hold a study/work permit, an occupation which may post as a conflict of interest, a criminal record, or credit concern.

Before proceeding, here are some important reminders:

Greatway abides by the agent suitability standards set by our sponsors and insurance councils. Our sponsors review an agent’s application very carefully, considering factors such as residency, criminal history, credit, and potential conflicts of interest. If these factors concern you at the time of contracting, you may be asked for additional information or documentation. Depending on the circumstances involved, our sponsor or Greatway may defer or disapprove the application.

Greatway only contracts agents with Canadian citizenship, permanent residency or under open work permits with no restrictions. If your work permit has demographic, occupation restrictions, or limited validity period (less than 6 months) at the time of contracting, your application may be deferred or declined. You may seek advice from an immigration consultant, but please be aware that Greatway cannot guarantee your contracting under these circumstances.
